4/26/23 – This is an original US M-1 Helmet and liner. The helmet shell comes with an original double-sided camouflage helmet cover in great condition. The shell is in good condition with a small dent on the top crown, and some surface patina and light areas of rust on the interior shell. The interior shell is lot numbered 1151B . An original canvas chinstrap is attached to the swivel-style bails. The liner is in great condition with some mild scuffing along the edges, but no cracks or dents. Original leather chinstrap is in good condition with mild surface wear throughout. The interior liner crown is stamped “US 47 M 1”. The canvas and leather lining is in great condition with mild signs of aging.
