4/21/23 – This is a rare Walther Mod HP manufactured in the 1940’s. All matching with one Nazi military proof on the right side of the slide, indicating it was originally made for the commercial market but was diverted to the Nazi military to help meet demand. There is an import mark on the right side of the frame and an “Eagle BH” on the left side of the frame, indicating it was issued to the Austrian military after the war. The entire gun has been refinished, and an external serial number was added to the right side of the slide. There is very little finish loss with just very minor wear around the muzzle and on the front edges of the slide. A few light scratches on the right side of the slide. Fitted with post-war black plastic grips – some light scratches and scuffs on both sides. Comes with a WW2-era jvd magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling and some very light freckling here and there. De-cocker is functional.
