4/20/23 – This is a very nice example of a Smith & Wesson M&P Pre-10 revolver, manufactured in the late 1930’s and chambered in .38 Special. 4″ barrel. All matching and comes with a matching-numbered box and owners manual. The gun itself has retained about 93% of its original high polish bluing. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of light scratchy wear on the back strap, but there is also minor wear around the muzzle, on the high edges of the cylinder, and on the top strap. Light roll mark on the cylinder. The case-hardening on the hammer and trigger is slightly worn. Very nice Walnut grips – the right panel is numbered and matching. Mint bore.
