4/18/23 – This is a minty example of an AC 42 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. All matching with proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout. Comes as a rig with a very nice black leather hard shell holster (the date is obscured) and two “Eagle 359” marked Walther magazines. One of the magazines has period-correct numbering on the base (not matching) and post-war numbering on the tube (not matching). The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original finish. The frame has a really nice plum tint to it. There is minor muzzle wear, very minor thinning on the front strap, and one small area of very minor wear on the right side of the slide. An area of very light pin-pricking on the left side of the slide. Fitted with excellent blackish-brown bakelite grips. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
