4/18/23 – This is an original WW1 US Trench fighting knife by LF&C. The knife is all original with some honest wear throughout the blade and hand guard. The blade has the original finish still intact, but there’s pitting and dark surface patina throughout. The edge has a few small nicks and dings from use as well. The hand guard is missing most of the finish, but some still remains. Throughout the interior and exterior of the hand guard is similar pin-pricking and patina as that found on the blade. The handle has a few small cracks and chips, mostly near the base of the wood, but is still completely intact. No scabbard included.
