4/7/23 – This is an interesting example of what we’re calling a “battlefield” Luger, given its obvious heavy use and abuse. It was made by DWM during WW1. There is obvious pitting and heavy oxidation throughout. It appears someone partially restored it, meaning most of the parts were sandblasted to remove rust. Miraculously, the gun appears to be fully functional! Please consult your gunsmith before using it at the range. The majority of the markings are obscured by pitting, but the serial number and DWM scroll on the toggle are visible. Fitted with fairly worn wood grips. Comes with a mismatched WW2-era magazine. The majority of the bore actually has decent rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout and a couple of a small areas with more noticeable pitting.
