4/3/23 – This is an original WW2 Japanese Officer Dress / Parade bayonet. The bayonet blade is in near-excellent condition with a shiny nickel finish and a uniform-looking tempered edge. No signs of sharpening or misuse throughout the blade, and some mild surface patina and typical light scuffs on each side of the blade. No major issues. The original leather stopper is still attached and in great shape. The hand guard and metal gold-washed portion of the handle is in great condition with some mild surface patina and signs of aging without any excessive wear. Comes with an original scabbard that has surface oxidation speckled throughout, but no dents or major issues.
