3/31/23 – This is an original Italian Carcano M1891 bayonet with an original scabbard. The bayonet blade is in good overall condition with dark surface patina and finish loss throughout the original finish. The edge shows signs of sharpening and a few imperfections from previous use. The crossguard is maker stamped “Terni” on one side, and “2F 8200” on the other side. There’s dark patina and aging throughout the crossguard and pommel. The wood grips have some mild imperfections and aging wear but no major issues. Comes with an original scabbard that’s stamped “A.R.E.T. 1931”.
