3/24/23 – This is an original WW2 production K98 dress / parade / ceremonial bayonet. The bayonet is about 15 inches long with a blade length of approx. 10 inches. The blade is maker stamped by PUMA and is in very good overall condition. There’s light surface scratches and mild patina / surface speckling throughout. There’s also a small chip at the tip. The leather stopper is original and intact. The metal hilt has surface patina and typical aging wear throughout with no rust or pitting. The grips are in great condition. Comes with an original scabbard that has some light surface rust in spotty areas throughout the original finish. THe leather frog is unmarked.
