3/8/23 – This is an original WW2 production Walther PPK grip made from mostly grey bakelite. There’s also a nice black marbling and some hints of red throughout the grip. This was characteristic of wartime production as the Walther factory was trying different bakelite mixes. They ultimately went from brown to black, but there are a short run of grey-grip PPKs produced during the war, making these grey examples rare and more desirable. This grip has some flaring / warping at the top of the grip and a small hairline stress-crack on the spine as shown. This doesn’t affect functionality. No screw included, but the grip does have both escutcheons intact.
