3/6/23 – This is a very nice example of a Winchester M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1942-43. The barrel and receiver are both Winchester marked. An adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added, likely for re-issue during the Korean War. The stock is Inland “IO” marked in the sling well. There is not much actual finish loss on the metal parts, but there is minor spotty discoloration throughout. Some minor surface rust on the op rod and a streak of what looks like red marker over the serial number. Excellent wood stock that was likely sanded. Excellent bore with strong rifling. Comes with one magazine, a green canvas sling, oiler, and a 1943-dated magazine pouch with the GI’s name written on it (no spare mags).
