2/22/23 – This is a rare, original Colt 1911A1 from 1941 with parkerized finish. One of only ~21,000 produced, this one is in excellent condition with 95-96% of the finish remaining. Beautiful side views with just minor thinning/patina on the front strap and a little more along the top of the slide. Slide is matching numbered to the frame. Proper Colt barrel with ‘G’ marking under lug and a minty bore. Excellent grips with very little handling wear. RS inspector mark on frame. Magazine is for a later commercial variant.
