3/2/23 – This is an original WW2 German SA Dagger with an original scabbard and leather hanger. The dagger features a “double maker” stamped blade, which refers to the Robert Klaas maker logo that also includes a RZM M7/37 maker designation code underneath (also for Robert Klaas). The blade is in excellent condition with some mild surface rub wear and micro-scratching from scabbard wear. Excellent cross-graining throughout and an untampered edge. The wood handle has no cracks but there is some light surface flaking at the base of the handle on the front of the wood grip, and more flaking found on the back near the pommel. The metal fittings are in great shape with fairly clean nickel plating and correct for wartime production. The pommel nut does show evidence of having been removed / taken apart previously. The brown painted scabbard has no cracks or chips, and the leather hanger is RZM stamped on the clip as shown.
