2/20/23 – This is a beautiful example of an original Army Colt 1911 that was made in 1918. Excellent bluing throughout, with most of the finish loss on the front strap and a bit of edge wear on the mainspring housing. Proper barrel with connected PH marking. Terrific wood grips with no defects. Original two-tone mag. The bore does have some freckling and frost throughout as it seems it wasn’t cleaned properly after it was used at some point in the past.
