2/15/23 – This is an original WW2 production German SA Dagger. The dagger comes with an original scabbard that has a leather hanger attached. The dagger blade is in fair condition with some obvious surface discoloration and scratching throughout, the inscription side of the blade presenting the most surface patina. However, there are no signs of pitting or surface rust. Despite this surface wear, the cross graining is still visible on the blade, as is the original inscription and maker marking. The maker corresponds to Carl Eickhorn Solingen. The nickel crossguard is stamped with a “Fr” on one side (representing the SA Gruppe) and has mild surface patina throughout but no issues. The wood grip is in great condition with no major cracks or chips. The scabbard has a couple of dents along the side and the bottom fitting is damaged on the tip, but this does not affect functionality. The leather hanger is in great condition with some very minor cracking on the leather.
