2/11/23 – This a decent Colt 1911A1 rig that was issued to the U.S. Army late in 1943. Original Colt parts with a Colt barrel, though it is a slightly later variation with ‘7’ under lug. The finish is thinning and slightly splotchy on the slide, with some more wear on the front grip strap. Nice grips but they do show some smoothing. Minty bore. ‘S’ marked magazine. Comes with an original Grafton Knights holster that is also from 1943.
