2/10/23 – This is a nice example of an original Army-issued Colt 1911A1 from 1943. All original with the matching numbered slide and frame. Original Colt barrel with large ‘G’ under lug. The pistol has a very nice profile but nearly all of the finish loss is on the front strap. Excellent grips with only minor handling wear. The bore has strong rifling but there is some freckling throughout the grooves. Unmarked magazine.
