4/25/23 – This is a nice, honest example of an Army-issued Mauser Luger from 1939. All numbered parts match, including the original magazine. The original blue rates at about 92-94%, with wear on all the common high points – sideplate, muzzle, rails and bottom of front strap. The bore is shiny with strong rifling but there is freckling in the grooves. The grips are in very good condition with no cracks or chips, just minor smoothing on the left panel. They are not numbered but fit perfectly.
