1/26/23 – This is an original 1941 dated holster for a Mauser 7.65mm pistol, such as the model HSC or M1934. The holster is waffen proof stamped on the closure strap, with a maker code and date stamp on the side flap under the closure strap. The interior leather has an upside down ink stamp, “Mauser 7,65”. The holster leather has some surface cracking on the top leather and closure strap. This doesn’t go very deep into the leather, however. There’s also some mild scuffing on the toe and base of the magazine pouch. The stitching is all original and intact. Very good overall condition and a desirable variation holster.
