1/18/23 – This is a beautiful example of a rare and interesting Japanese ‘Baby’ Nambu, also known as the ‘Type B’. This pistol serial is number 672, but very few examples of serials 1-500 are known or have been observed, so this is one of the earlier Baby Nambu serials you will encounter. The pistol is all matching and original, including the grips and magazine. The bluing rates at about 97% with minor finish loss on the muzzle, grip safety and trigger guard. Mint bore and action is smooth. Serial dates the gun to about 1910-1911.
