1/18/23 – This is an original WW2 era production New Zealand Commando Knuckle Knife with an original leather scabbard. These WW2 fighting knives are scarce and fairly desirable. The knife blade is worn with dark patina throughout and surface oxidation. There’s no deep rust or pitting however, and the edge is unsharpened. The base of the blade and some small portions of the handle still have traces of the original olive green paint. There appears to be a faint maker stamp on one side of the blade base, but it’s too hard to decipher. The blade is magnetic, but the handle is aluminum and non-magnetic. Comes with an original leather scabbard in great overall condition.
