1/27/23 – This is an excellent example of a U.S. Army issued and inspected Ithaca 1911A1 from 1943 that was sent to Britain as part of the lend-lease program. It has the proper U.S. military inspectors marks, and British proofs are visible on the right side of the slide, frame, and barrel. Proper Flannery barrel. The gun has retained about 95% of its parkerized finish. There is just a hint of wear around the muzzle, some minor thinning on the front strap, and some areas of very light freckling here and there. Fitted with excellent period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with one magazine. Minty bore.
