1/12/23 – This is an excellent example of a 1941 dated holster for a Mauser HSc. A model 1934 Mauser would also be appropriate for this holster. The leather has mild pliability and is strong throughout. The only notable leather issue is some mild surface wrinkling and scuffing along the top leather near the pivot point. The interior leather is minty and clean with a Mauser 7.65 ink stamp still visible. The closure strap is waffen military proof stamped, and there’s a maker and date code stamped under the closure strap, “jhg 41”. The stitching is strong and excellent as well.
