1/12/23 – This is a nice example of a scarce 1921-dated DWM Luger, sold in the commercial market and chambered in .30 Luger. All of the numbered parts are matching, but the barrel, firing pin, and rear toggle pin are un-numbered. Commercial “Crown N” proofs throughout. It has retained about 95% of its finish with minor wear on the side plate, on the high edges, and around the muzzle. Light spotty wear on the front strap and some minor thinning on the back strap. While there isn’t a lot of actual finish loss, there are areas of pitting along the right side of the slide, around the muzzle, and on the back strap. Fitted with very nice un-numbered wood grips. Comes with a magazine that has a period-correct nickeled tube but has a homemade wood bottom with a screw through the center. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling. The slide does not lock back automatically with this magazine.
