1/10/23 – This is a very nice example of a commercial Walther PP. The frame and slide are mismatched. The frame is early and dates to about 1930 (Crown N proofed). The slide is a bit later and dates to about 1943 (Eagle N proofed). Early extended barrel. The entire gun has been completely refurbished and refinished and the bluing has a slight plum color to it. There is some very light spotty wear on both grip straps and some pin-pricking on the back strap. Very little actual finish loss on the slide, but there are tiny scratches and handling marks along both sides. Painted front sight. Fitted with very nice black grips – the left side is period-correct, the right is a post-war replacement. Comes with one post-war magazine. The bore has strong rifling, but there is some light frosting.
