1/9/23 – This is an original WW2 German SA Dagger by F. Herder A.S.. The dagger comes with an original scabbard and leather hanger. The dagger blade is in excellent condition with a clean finish and evident cross-graining. There is some mild speckling and spots of discoloration along with typical scabbard wear throughout the blade. No signs of sharpening. Maker stamped on one side as shown. The dagger has nickel fittings and is stamped “Wf” on the cross guard. The metal has mild surface patina but no rust or pitting. The wood grip has a few small chips near the base of the grip, where the grip meets the cross guard. These are mild, however and overall the grip is in great condition. The scabbard has some surface wear and scuffing but is in great overall condition as well. The base of the scabbard has a small dent. The leather hanger has no markings or stamps.
