1/4/23 – This is a late WW2 production P.38 magazine. The magazine has two desirable late-war production features. First, the left side of the tube is stamped P.38 U, for unhardened metal, which was a production step that was skipped at the end of the war. Second, the follower is ribbed instead of flat. The magazine has no military proof stamp on the spine as well, which is likely due to rushed production. The finish is slightly worn and discolored throughout, but there’s no rust or pitting. The spring is strong and fully functional.
