12/27/22 – This is a very nice example of a Springfield M1 Garand. The receiver dates to about 1955. LMR barrel also dated February of 1954. DOD stamps on the barrel and left side of the stock. The gun has retained about 97% of its finish with general high edge wear and a few small spots of wear here and there. There is no major damage to the wood stock, but there is bruising throughout, a couple of more noticeable gouges here and there, and some noticeable scratches on the left side of the stock. The bore is like-new. Muzzle reading: 1. Throat reading: 0.
