12/19/22 – This is a nice example of an H&R Second Model “Bicycle” Top-Break Revolver, manufactured between 1905-20 and chambered in .32 S&W. 2″ barrel. The gun is all matching and has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. Almost the whole gun is nickel-plated, but the trigger guard is blued. Most of the wear is around the muzzle and along the barrel, where there is some light flaking in the finish. Some flaking on the cylinder as well. Thinning in the bluing on the underside of the trigger guard. Some tiny dots of oxidation here and there. Fitted with a set of excellent period-correct black bakelite grips. The bore has decent rifling, but there is spotty oxidation throughout and some minor pitting here and there.
