12/15/22 – This is an excellent Arisaka Type 99 rifle, with full mum, monopod, matching numbers throughout (including the dust cover), and even a rare, original sling. The rifle is in terrific condition with very little bluing loss overall. All numbered parts match, including the full bolt assembly and the dust cover. The stock is in good condition with standard wear you’d see on an Arisaka stock, but a previous owner did carve their name into it (FOX). Minty bore, hardly looks used. The rifle is complete with cleaning rod, and a very hard-to-find leather sling that’s still in decent condition and fully attached/intact.
