12/7/22 – This is a rare British Enfield No 4 Mk 1 (T) rifle issued to the British military in 1945 and in an original sniper configuration. It does not come with a scope, but it does have its original scope mount and proper screw holes on the left side of the receiver. It is all matching (including the stock) and has the proper British proofs throughout. Export markings on the barrel and on the receiver. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its finish, with areas of somewhat scratchy finish loss, on the bands of the receiver, both barrel bands, and on the magazine. The stock is mostly original, but the butt stock has been replaced, and there are two old screw holes where it looks like someone tried to install a cheek pad. The bore has great rifling, but there are a couple of areas of light oxidation.
