12/7/22 – This is a scarce Colt Police Positive revolver rig that was sent to the Railway Express Agency in 1930, as indicated by marking on back of frame. It is all matching and has retained about 94% of its really nice original high polish finish. The majority of the wear is around the muzzle and on the high edges of the cylinder. Light roll mark on the cylinder as well. Some very light freckling on the grip straps and on the underside of the trigger guard. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight and the action is very smooth. Fitted with very nice period-correct wood grips – slightly worn along the edges and some tiny bruises on the bottom edges.
