11/29/22 – This is a nice example of a DWM Navy Model 1914 Luger issued to the Imperial German Navy in 1914. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown M” Imperial Navy proofs. Unfortunately, the top sliding piece of the rear sight is missing. The gun has retained about 92% of its original finish. There is minor muzzle wear and areas of wear around the chamber, on the side plate, and on the left side of the frame. Splotchy discoloration and what looks like dried grease on the front strap. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there are small areas of light pin-pricking here and there and areas of noticeable pitting around the muzzle and on the barrel. Comes with nice wood grips that are numbered but do not match. Also comes with a mismatched non-Navy magazine with a chip in the base. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with pitting throughout.
