11/29/22 – This is an early example of a rare Model 1922 pocket pistol manufactured at the Simson factory in the 1920’s. It is all matching, has the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs, and has the correct early features, such as 12 triangular slide serrations and early black bakelite grips. This one comes as a rig with one proper magazine and an Ersatz paper holster. The gun itself has retained roughly 75% of its original bluing. There is obvious wear and finish loss along both sides of the gun, mainly on the slide. Very light freckling throughout and some minor brown patina on the grip straps. The grips are excellent. The bore has decent rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
