11/18/22 – This is a very nice example of a British Fazakerley No 4 Mk 2 rifle, manufactured in December of 1948. The gun is all matching but has an import mark on the left side of the receiver. The stock is numbered on the underside just behind the front barrel band and matching. There is not much actual finish loss on the metal parts, just some minor wear around the muzzle, on the barrel bands, on the trigger guard, and on the high edges of the magazine. Wear on the bolt handle as well. However, there are tiny chips in the black painted finish throughout, most noticeable on the receiver. The wood stock is excellent but appears to have been lightly sanded. Excellent bore.
