11/15/22 – This is an original 1943 dated P.38 holster from WW2. The holster is in good condition, but has been repaired in the top right corner of where the lid meets the body of leather and on the closure strap. These repairs are black stitching, as shown in photos. The leather is all original and shows honest wear throughout. Soft and pliable with surface wrinkling and mild scuffs and signs of previous use and aging. The back leather is maker stamped, dated, waffen proofed, and P.38 stamped. The stitching is original and intact throughout the holster, except for where the repairs are as mentioned.
