11/15/22 – This is an original 1938 dated Police issued Luger holster from WW2. The holster is maker stamped, dated, and police eagle proof stamped on the back leather. The brown leather is in great condition with mild pliability and some normal surface wear on the exterior. There’s some wrinkling around the closure strap, and some light scuffing near the toe and lid of the holster. No excessive wear and clean interior leather. The stitching is all original and intact except for one loose stitch on the closure strap, and the back-right belt loop which has replacement stitching, although this looks like a period-correct repair.
