11/8/22 – This is a nice example of an Erfurt Ortgies Pocket Pistol manufactured in the 1910’s and chambered in 6.35mm. This one is all matching, has the proper “Crown N” proofs, and has a “Germany” export marking on the underside of the frame, indicating it was intended for sale in the international commercial market. It has retained roughly 80% of its original finish with an area of obvious wear and spotty oxidation at the front left of the slide. Comes with very nice period-correct wood grips and a blued magazine. The bore has strong rifling with some minor fouling in the grooves.
