11/7/22 – This is a WW2 production M1916 holster for 1911A1 pistols. The holster is “US” stamped on the front leather, as well as maker stamped and dated on the back leather as shown. The holster leather displays typical signs of previous use and aging, without any excessive wear or damage. Normal pliability and no stitching issues throughout the holster. Fairly clean interior leather. A nice, straightforward example.
