11/7/22 – This is an AC 43 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is a “straight line” variant in the proper “n” serial block. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained roughly 75% of its bluing. We believe that a significant portion of the gun has been touched up with cold blue. The majority of the actual finish loss is on the front strap and along the barrel. Areas of obvious spotty oxidation throughout. Tiny pits along both sides of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct Walther grips and an “Eagle 359” marked Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
