10/20/22 – This is a Colt Model 1909 revolver issued to the US military in 1911. It is all matching, he underside of the barrel is “United States Property” marked, and there are proper “R.A.C.” military proofs throughout. The gun has retained roughly half its finish, and we believe that at least the frame has an old re-blued finish. The majority of the finish loss is along the barrel, on the top strap, and one both grip straps. Noticeable brown patina along the barrel. Comes with nice period-correct wood grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
