9/26/22 – This is an original 1940 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster has been embellished with a Death’s Head skull on the front leather, as shown. We aren’t sure the significance of this, nor can we authenticate this as an original. However, the pin shows aging and evidence that it has been on the holster for a while. The metal is also non-magnetic (it shouldn’t be). The leather is in great condition and is stamped with a fairly uncommon “cdg” maker code and 1940 date with waffen proof stamp. No notable flaws and all original stitching intact.
