9/26/22 – This is an original WW2 US Paratrooper switchblade knife. The blade is maker stamped on the ricasso by Schrade as shown. The blade is about 3 inches long and shows some surface wear and discoloration throughout. The edge shows signs of use and sharpening, what we like to call “honest wear”. Mechanically sound with a smooth action and a functional locking mechanism. The safety lever doesn’t work 100% of the time, however. The handle is in great condition with some mild patina on the metal parts.
