10/10/22 – This is an excellent example of a Sauer 38h sold in the commercial market in the 1940’s. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle N” proofs. It has retained about 97% of its original high polish finish. There is minor muzzle wear and a few dings and light spotty wear on the front strap. Minor pin-pricking on the back strap. An area of very light spotty oxidation around the ejection port. A few light scratches here and there. There is what looks like “JG XX” scratched very lightly into the left side of the slide. Comes with nice black plastic grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is mint.
