9/14/22 – This is an excellent example of a model 1917 Bolo made by Plumb during WW1. The blade, hand guard, and hilt all have most of the original dark blue/blackened finish. The blade is maker stamped on one side of the ricasso and model 1917 C.T. stamped on the reverse. The stamps are somewhat faint and weakly struck into the metal. The blade edge shows some mild signs of sharpening and there’s light scabbard rub wear throughout. The wood handle is excellent. Comes with a canvas covered scabbard that’s in excellent condition and maker stamped on the back toe.
