8/25/22 – This is a nice example of a FN Browning Model 1922 issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 140” military acceptance proofs. It has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. There is some general thinning on the slide and minor wear around the muzzle and high edges. However, most of the finish loss comes in the form of splotchy discoloration on the left side of the slide. Small areas of minor pitting around the muzzle and right side of the slide. Some tiny freckling on the top of the slide. A few small dots of discoloration on the front strap. Comes with nice period-correct wood grips and a proper magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there are areas of light freckling throughout.
