8/19/22 – This is a very nice example of a Pre-WW2 German Side-by-Side hunting rifle made by Otto Bock. The gun is all matching and has the proper German proofs throughout. The caliber on the underside of the barrel reads 6.3mm. The gun comes equipped with a very nice Carl Zeiss scope (good optics). The receiver features a very nice floral engraving pattern. There is virtually no finish loss along the barrels, but most of the case-hardening on the receiver has worn away, and there is some light spotty oxidation. It comes with an original horn trigger guard – some light scratches on the underside. The wood stock is very nice with only minor bruises and handling marks here and there. There are a few tiny bore holes in the butt plate. Excellent bores with strong rifling.
