8/19/22 – This is an excellent example of a Spanish Destroyer Carbine, chambered in 9mm Bergmann. It was used by Spanish police and prison services, including the Guardia Civil from the mid-1930s until the late 1960s, replacing the El Tigre Rifle. This one was manufactured in 1957, according to the “C1” date code. There is a small import mark on the barrel. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition with very little actual finish loss. There is some minor spotty wear around the muzzle and minor wear and brown patina on the front barrel band. Spotty oxidation on the bolt and magazine. Minty stock. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
