5/8/23 – This is a rare and minty example of a military DWM Luger rig from 1918. The pistol is all matching throughout, including the grips and both magazines. It has terrific, original blue that rates at 97-98%. There’s minor holster wear on the sideplate and muzzle, and a little more on the stock lug. There’s also a little bit of oxidation/pinpricking on the sideplate. Minty grips with very sharp checkering and no cracks. Mint bore, hardly looks used. This is a rare find already, given the condition and matching magazines, but it’s even further rarified by the unit marking on the back strap. Some details about the marking are included in the photos for this listing, but the marking (11/419N14) indicates it was issued to the 11th company, 419th regiment. The listing includes an unmarked tool, and is completed by a WW1 dated holster that’s in excellent condition with strong leather and crisp stampings.
