8/11/22 – This is a nice Underwood M1 Carbine from early 1944. A full parts list is included in the photos of this listing, but this one is mostly correct with a proper “skeleton”. All correct Underwood receiver, barrel and stock. The finish on the metal parts is original and in excellent condition overall, with minor thinning on the receiver. Strong, shiny bore. The stock has sharp cartouches but does show it’s age with dimples and handling wear throughout. No cracks or structural issues though. Comes with a 1943 dated mag pouch, and a total of two magazines. Also includes a canvas sling.
